It has been six hard months worth of research, food shows and product development and now Mrs. Webb's Crab Pies have an exciting new look to our boxes, we are getting favorable attention at food shows in the tough mid-Atlantic crab market, and we are being pursued heavily by international interests to bring Mrs. Webb's to the far east.

However, Mrs. Webb's has been building for this moment for the past several months. During the past few months we also created a successful black label pie for a Fortune 500 organic market where the product was an immediate sellout. Now that we have put in the road work, we are ready to bring Mrs. Webb's Crab Pies direct to you through the Internet.

One of the most wonderful things about being an American is that we have this remarkable ability to come to together when it matters most. The 1960's not only changed America for the better, it changed the world just as our forefathers knew establishing the United States of America would literally change the world in the 18th century. The Martin Luther King Jr. Day Holiday is a uniquely American event because it literally demonstrates that everyone in American can have the opportunity to rise above nearly any obstacle regardless of one's gender, one's race, one's religion, one's ethnicity, or one's social class. These are the things that my mother taught my family as we grew up during those exciting and turbulent times when Dr. King was speaking and marching for freedom for all Americans.

It is because of the courage of a few of the Founding Fathers to actually sign their names to the Declaration of Independence in 1776, and later the Constitution of the United States of America in 1787 that this country acknowledged that all men are created equal. However, like anything worth having, freedom would take more than 150 years to begin to become reality. People literally died for the right of each of us to have the freedoms that we enjoy today; and Dr. King and those who worked with him of every race, color, gender and creed are a major reason this country changed for the better for all people.

It is because of Americans of every color of the rainbow that this company has had the opportunity to come to fruition, and why millions of Americans have the opportunity to live the dream that Dr. King often talked about in his speeches and writings. This Martin Luther King Jr. holiday just take a moment to have an attitude of gratitude of being an American an having the opportunity to live your dream. We at Mrs. Webb's encourages each of you to follow your dream as we have in creating Mrs. Webb's Crab Pies and sharing my family's joy with you! Have a great day!

We are getting ready for the Super Bowl and Valentine's Day just for you! We have just added a Chef Jeff group on our Flickr account, and we are working on some new commercials, videos and testimonials for Mrs. Webb's Crab Pies. We are so excited about what 2008 has in store! We are going to an International Food Festival this week, and we are transforming our corporate website into a more traditional website with a store so that you can order Mrs. Webb's Crab Pies on demand from anywhere! Just so that you know that we are serious about this, we are making a major Valentine's Day push to complete our beta testing. Did I mention that there is one more thing? Yes, we also plan on making a major announcement around the same time! If my late mother who passed away earlier this fall could have seen how far we have come, I know that she would be proud that we continue to use her name to exemplify what we stand for as a company: delivering a quality product with class and treating each of you like my mother treated us which was always outstanding!

As we turn the page on 2007, I just want to say thank you to all of the people, stores, and fans that have made this dream possible for me and my family. I truly hope that you are blessed like I have been blessed to have family, friends, and business colleagues who have helped this dream come to fruition.

I encourage you to fasten your seatbelt because with your help and support we will become great in 2008, and you will always remember the great meal you ate when it was brought to you by Mrs. Webb's in 2008!

As you know from reading this site, we at Mrs. Webb's always try to ride the very careful line of classy mixed with fun as we navigate this wonderful tool

known as the Internet. However, a story that has been all over the news today verified what our research and our gut has been telling us for some time: Mrs. Webb's Crab Pies are a meal fit for a queen and Internet is one of the best ways to speak to the public in a direct way. The story that we are referring to is the announcement from
 Buckingham Palace that Queen Elizabeth II is a big fan of technology and the Internet and she has just established a You Tube page called The Royal Channel. On the channel Queen Elizabeth II is featuring her first Christmas message which ironically speaks to the use of a new medium (television at that time) to communicate directly to the public. Isn't it fascinating how despite how much things change, they still remain the same. While you will not usually, see posts like this on this site (you may see it on our future corporate site), we at Mrs. Webb's are thankful for the opportunity to speak to you using this wonderful medium!
